本ブログでもこれまで何度かご紹介している通り、当社にはインドに子会社があります。
そのインド子会社について、現地メンバー自ら紹介記事を作成しましたので、前回から2回に分けてご紹介しています。
前回は、CIPLの概要と各チームの役割についてご紹介しました。今回は、インドの働き方や職場文化についてご紹介します。現地ならではの仕事の進め方や日常の様子を通して、その特徴をご覧ください。

インドの働き方
インドの職場には、プロフェッショナル意識の高さとチームワーク、そして変化への柔軟な対応力を兼ね備えた、活気ある仕事文化があります。近年では多くの企業がハイブリッドワークを採用し、社内外との密接なコミュニケーションを維持しながら業務を進めています。
昼食・休憩時間
インドの多くのオフィスでは、昼休みは一般的に午後1時〜午後1時30分に取られます。
従業員は、自宅から持参した食事をとったり、近隣のレストランの料理を注文したりして過ごします。また、朝や夕方には紅茶やコーヒーを楽しむ休憩も一般的です。
こうした休憩時間中のカジュアルな会話は、リフレッシュだけでなく、職場での人間関係づくりにも役立っています。

通勤は、インドの日常的な仕事生活において重要な要素の一つです。都市によって異なりますが、従業員は主に以下の手段で通勤しています。

インドでは交通渋滞が深刻であり、特に多くの人が移動する通勤時間帯には混雑が顕著です。そのため、移動時間は大幅に延びることがあり、通常の交通状況と比べてかなり長時間を要することもあります。

インドにはさまざまな宗教が存在しており、それに伴い祝日や文化的な行事も非常に多様です。
これらの行事の一部は、CIPLおよびe-Janネットワークスののさらなる発展を願い、社内でメンバーとともに祝われています。

1:00 PM to 1:30 PM
Employees often enjoy homemade meals or order food from nearby restaurants. Tea and coffee breaks are also common during the day, especially in the morning and evening.
Short informal conversations during breaks help employees relax and strengthen workplace relationships.
Commuting in India
